About

Hi there, and welcome to my website!

I’m a writer.  I’m also a wife and mom, and the adopted person of a varying number of high-maintenance cats.   I live in Northern Nevada where the Sierra meets the desert.  That means I roast in the summer and freeze in the winter, and in between enjoy the variety of the sometimes finicky seasons.

I’ve been telling stories since I was a little kid and made up my own adventures for the folks stranded on Gilligan’s Island. I’ve been lucky enough to write stories in the world of Star Trek, another childhood favorite, and Battletech, as well as in worlds of my own creation.  I happily admit that I’m afflicted with what some people call “butterfly brain” or “bright, shiny object syndrome,” which, in writer terms, means I write in a whole bunch of different genres–mystery, science fiction, urban and contemporary fantasy, suspense, romance, mainstream–whatever catches my attention at the time. There are even some zombie stories lurking around here somewhere!

Whatever kind of stories you like to read, I hope you’ll find something here to your liking. And check back often for new things on my New Releases page.

This blog is a work in progress.  Expect it to change as my team and I learn more about what the heck we’re doing.  And no, I’m not asking my daughter for help, and why is the time still flashing on my VCR?  Okay, I’m not that bad.  Yet.

However this site turns out, I’m having fun with it.  I hope you have fun, too, while you’re here!
