Fiction

Annie writes in a wide variety of genres.  She’s not sure if that means she has eclectic tastes, or that she’s easily distracted by the next bright shiny new thing.

The best way to browse Annie’s fiction (and she’s written a lot, especially short fiction), is to search by category.  Just imagine this website is your virtual bookstore.  You can discover whodunnit in Mystery & Crime, spot elves and ghosts and vampires in Fantasy,  imagine “what if?” in Science Fiction, find the love of your life in Romance, explore women’s issues in Women’s Fiction, and take a unique look at everyday life in Mainstream Fiction.  If you like Christmas stories, take a look in the Holiday aisle, or if you like your short fiction in bulk, try the Collections and Anthologies section of the bookstore.

You’ll also find urban fantasy for every taste.  Annie’s Diz & Dee series are light-hearted mysteries.  Tales From the Shadows have their roots buried deeply in crime and noir.  Annie’s Moretown Bay stories are set in a Seattle-like town filled with magic and magical folk.  You’ll even find stories about survivors of the Zombie Apocalypse.

Feel free to browse among the virtual stacks.  Take your time.  We hope you enjoy your stay!

  1. I just finished reading “Pretty Little Horses” on my NOOK. I don’t remember where I found out about Annie Reed but I’m glad I did. In the back it said to watch for “Paper Bullits” coming in 2012 but I can’t find it anywhere!?? Is it out yet and/or are there more books or stories about Abby? I am a 68 year resident of the Reno/Sparks area and enjoy the local details.

    • Thanks for writing! I’m glad you enjoyed PRETTY LITTLE HORSES. PAPER BULLETS got pushed back in the schedule, but it should be out later this year. In the meantime, the short story “Thief” is about Abby when she went to UNR and is available for your Nook.

  2. Thanks for your reply. I will look forward to the publication of Paper Bullets and, in the meantime, I will download Thief.
